Charity Ride: Gerbils for Ta-Tas
Ride to Benefit Rider Michelle Mantonya, Diagnosed with Stage 3 Breast Cancer

Riders are a charitable bunch. We love riding our motorcycles for a good cause, and this Saturday, November 16 the cause is close to home. One of our customers and an avid member of the local riding community, Michelle Mantonya, has been suddenly diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer at age 46. The Gerbils Motorcycle Club is organizing a charity ride to help with Michelle's medical bills. The ride begins at 10:00 a.m. at Eagle Leather Lakewood. Registration begins at 8:00 a.m.

The entry fee is $20.00 per rider, which includes:

  • Entry to the ride
  • T-shirt
  • Entry to the auction
  • Chance to win a number of door prizes, including gift certificates to Eagle Leather

The route is as follows:

  • 10:00 a.m. - Ride begins at Eagle Leather Lakewood
  • Stop 1 - Walts (McKenna)
  • Stop 2 - Yellowbeack (Enumclaw)
  • Stop 3 - Caps and Taps (BonnyLake)
  • Final Stop - Spanaway Oaktree at 5:00 p.m.

The event is either a ride or drive, and drivers are encouraged to exercise extreme caution while driving alongside the participating riders. Riders are also encouraged to ride aware. The final stop at Spanaway Oaktree will be for a charity auction. Door prizes will also be awarded. If you would like to contribute any door prizes or additional donations, please contact Alan at 253-861-2493.

In honor of Michelle and her courageous battle, Eagle Leather will be offering 15% off all Ladies' Gear this Saturday, November 16.
